Directorate of Remote Sensing is recognised as a lead agency in the development of Geospatial information and advisory to the government in matters relating to the geographic information system and remote sensing. It has a Critical Support system and a highly talented team of professionals who design, develop and coordinate the application of remote sensing solutions. As a lead expert, Mulehi’s goal is to enhance sustainable development by generation, analyse, store, manage and disseminate geospatial information on land-based natural resource. He brings to his position a well-established background in Geospatial information and policy advisory services. He has an excellent vast experiences GIS and has undertaken policy intervention process internationally including the Ordos in China, Cancun in Mexico, Ankara in Turkey and Montreal in Canada. His ten years’ experience is involved with roles at the technical consultant level, developing and delivering specialised services as well as responsibilities in the development of remote sensing and natural resource databases, environmental auditing and management. Mulehi has a Masters of Arts in Environmental Policy, University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Planning, Monitoring and Management from the University of Eldoret and a diploma in Environmental Planning and Management from the Technical University of Kenya.
